how did the financing go with those of you who had surgery? what was the monthly payment? overall payment?

i was planing on getting a job after the surgery to pay off the loan however since I am 17 i have no credit.. is there a way to do it like getting someone to co-sign to get that loan?

Many surgeons, myself included, make patient financing loans available in our offices.  Obviously, having good credit is a starter.

If you are young, have never worked or haven't been able to establish decent credit, then you would have to have another person co-sign the loan -- and they would be financially responsible if you defaulted on your payments.

This is done all the time.
