how tight should compression vest be?

had puffy nipples removed and now 1 week post op and started wearing my compression vest. just wondered how tight it has to be?

atm i have some gauls pads over my nips to make the compression even tighter, but when i removed them to shower, looked like the area was all purple in the shape of the pad lol, is this bad for healing?
(the tightness i have does not effect my breathing, by the velco bit is very tight over my arms.)

 i dont mind wearing it for the full stratch if i get the results.
is the one in the link not like an underworks one, and if not will it still give me the same results? cheers for your feed back

well i ordered a pull over one today which im gonna start wearing after the 4 weeks; i dont so much mind wearing the vest as where i live its very cold this time of year so i can cover it with big clothes lol
