Even though I read a ton of posts on this board saying not to judge results right away, I did. I am ashamed to say so but I didn't think there was any chance I would see improvements. I really appeared "butchered" right after the surgery. However, as everyone states, I saw improvement over time. I am not 10 weeks or so post op and almost there! Thus far, my results are great! So to everyone out there - Don't panic if things do not look right immediately after surgery. Heal up guys!!

thank you. I really need posts like this now.  :-\

Dude I stressed myself out for nothing. As you heal, everything starts to change. Give it time and hang in there!!

Naw dude, no need to feel embarrassed. I totally understand what you went through my man. Post-Op recovery can be, at times, an emotional roller-coaster ride...  ;)

for me... immediately post-op the bandage made me look like i had no chest at all, where my abs stuck out. now, 5 wks out... a nike compression top makes it look half as bad as pre-op (due to scar tissue)... but nothing like before AT ALL.... just waiting for the scar tissue to do its thing.

3 weeks is much too soon to be passing judgment. Give your body 3-6 months to heal up, then reassess.  ;)
