Hi! I'm a 20 year old male. I lost weight and realised that my chest looks asymmetrical with the left pec seeming larger than the right pec. Seems to me like I might have a case of unilateral gynocemastia. Can someone please confirm? I'm posting my pictures for your reference. Also, is there any chance that this will get better on it's own? I also feel like I have puffy nipples. However, whenever I workout my chest, my chest looks normal again and the puffy nipples go away for a while. I'm just wondering if continuing to workout and losing body fat will make this go away?

Yes, you do appear to have mild gynecomastia with puffy nipples.  You appear to be slender and I doubt whether additional weight loss would do anything -- in fact, it could look worse because your gyne would not change but your body would be even more slender.

There are many reasons why one side of your chest might appear larger than the other -- from abnormalities of the underlying ribs, to asymmetry of the pec muscles to asymmetry of the overlying tissues on top of the muscle.  Only an exam by a plastic surgeon can help to determine what is there.

Your options at this point are few:  accept it and live with it or consider surgery with a gyne expert.  Do not waste your money on various pills and gimmicks.

Suggest you consult with a plastic surgeon in your area who has demonstrated sufficient interest and expertise in gyne surgery.  Or, consider traveling for such expertise.

Good luck!
