Hey guys Im new to these boards. I had never heard of gynecomastia before about 3 days ago. Ive always been alittle overweight. I love the beach but have alway been embarsed to go. I just joined a gym and have been going religously. Now I find out that the gym may not get rid of everything. Unfortunatly I have no med insurance and cant see a doctor, so Im asking for your opionons. Is this fat, or gyne? Surgery is not totally out of the question but I would like to avoid it. If it is Gyne, how bad is it? will hitting the gym and toning up help my situation

Bro, welcome aboard!

Your case look almost EXACTLY like mine did (without the fur coat). Your puffy nipples make it appear as though you have some gland there underneath. That would have to be cut out with excision.

You could probably deal with the fatty tissue by diet and exercise. But, if you go in for excision you might as well have the doc do some lip, too!  ;)

Good luck and thanks for posting the pics.

Welcome Dude!

Looks like you have Glandular/Fatty tissue Gyne. The only way to remove/lessen the gland is by surgery. Not what you wanted to hear, I know, but at least there is a proceedure to correct the condition if you so choose.  ;)

As STILLgotIT said.... thanks much for sharing your pics.

John.

Thanks again for the responses guys. Im hoping that diet and exercise will improve my situation. Im leaving surgery for my last resort. Ive lived with it this long and it sucks, but money is tight. Does fat and gland feel different?

You can definitely tell a difference between fat and gland.  Gland is a stronger material with many lumps in it.  If you push into your breast and move your fingers around, the gland should be noticeable.  Push into your stomach to see what fat feels like, then push your chest, and there should be a noticeable difference if there is gland there.
