I had mentioned in the past that I would try to post my before and after photos.  Luckily since I am completely computer illiterate Dr. Bermant posted them on his site.  For those who don't know it is www.plasticsurgery4U.com
I am the 29 year old with puffy nipples.  To be sure you have the right one I am 5 foot 10, 170 pounds, had fat flaps and am from Canada.  You may have to click on the gyno title to bring up more before and after photos including mine.

Was it covered or did you have you to pay?

I think the pics look perfect, from what I can tell.

What was the total price of your operation? Your case is similar to mine and I was thinking about going to Doctor Bermant.

   Thanks                   -Brown

Hey crazycanuck,

The results look good.

I am considering surgery with Dr. Bermant. My case looks fairly similar to how yours did.

One thing I always wonder about is that on Dr. Bermant's site (and other surgeons' sites) there are a lot of photos from 6 days on up to a several weeks after the surgery. I'd like to see the results after a few *months* or more, since it's supposed to take 6 months to a year to know the true final results of the surgery and healing.

I've seen your pictures of 9 days after the surgery on Bermant's site. Now that it's been a few months, how are things looking compared to the 9 days post-op pictures? I'm sure some initial swelling or bruising took place and then settled down? Change in how the areole scar looks, etc.?

Thanks....

I see patients from around the world and it can be difficult for patients to travel back for long term pictures.  Even so, there are many examples of long term results already on my website for those who take the time to look.

Here are but a few examples already posted:

http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/procedure_folder/male_breast/gyno_bodybuilding.html

The top pictures were taken by the patient 4 months after surgery.  Like almost all of my patients, he has moved on with his life and did not come back for a long term in office follow up.

How tissues evolve after surgery depends on many factors.  Most of the changes for my patients occurs at the time of the operation with subtle changes that can continue for many months.

Hope this helps,

Hey Dr. Bermant,

I stand corrected. Thanks. I thought I had looked through most of the pictures on your site but I obviously didn't look closely enough.

I can see how there may not be many 6 month - 1 year results photos on various plastic surgery sites if folks move on and don't come back for follow-ups (or don't send in longer-term pictures). Hadn't thought about that. Makes sense.
