Hello Doctors,

I just want to ask why it's a common complaint as I've read on the previous thread regarding liposuction wherein on its first week, it looks good and chest got flat however on the succeeding weeks, it suddenly it started to go back on its previous shape.
Im already on my 4th week post op and I cant tell if my chest will still be flat like on my first week. I had a pseudogynecomastia that's why I only had a liposuction done.

Swelling is common after the surgery, but the extent will depend on factors like how much tissue was there to begin with, how much was left behind (to swell up) and how much trauma occurred during the surgery.  Much swelling resolves by 6 to 8 weeks, though it can take months for it to completely resolve.
