Hello everyone.

I will be having my surgery in a couple of weeks time. I live in a small country in Europe, so there are no real experts on Gynecomastia surgery here, but there are surgons who perform this type of surgery among other surgeries, and I have decided to have it done by one of these surgons.

I will start by asking a couple of questions

1 What sort of medicines were you prescribed before and after the surgery?

2 Did you need to shave your chest hair?

I have been prescribed something called celebra as pain killer, and it seems to have a lot of side effects. Have any of you heard of or used this medicine post op?

Hi Raj.

1) I was prescribed a course of antibiotics and a dose of anti-nausea medication for the day of surgery.

2) Your chest will at least need to be shaved at the planned incision sites. Shave a larger area for less hair-tugging when you remove the adhesive and gauze post-surgery.

3)Sorry, but I have no experience with Celebra. My doctor's Rx was for Tylenol with Codeine.
