It gyno! Sorry to be the one that tells you but there's only one way to rid yourself of that and that is surgery! Some of us have chosen to accept for one reason or another, such as age, inability to have surgery ect..... however if you do decide to have surgery, please do your homework and find a qualified surgeon that has done a lot of gyno surgeries or you may be very unhappy with the results of the outcome!

This forum is a great place to start whether you are looking for a surgeon, or ways to help accept that you have breast.

Welcome to the forum!

I would certainly agree with Hammer; the shape and size looks like Gynecomastia to me.  You say, “…(I) have fat in my gut…” but you seem to be fairly slim as your waist looks relatively narrow so it is not like you have a bunch of fat hanging on you.  Now what you want to do about it is up to you.  Hammer and I are both just living with it, so are a lot of other people on the site.  But no one here will judge you for your decision either way.

Good luck and let everyone know what you decide about the Gynecomastia.

So from reading what's posted on this site if I wanted to get surgery
1. Go to family doctor to make sure it is gynecomastia
2.Get a blood test to check estrogen and testosterone levels
3. If estrogen is high then see a endocrinologist - determine treatment options
4. See a gynecomastia specialist for consultation
5. Book surgery when ready to do so
Am I missing anything here is this pretty much it?? Any help would be greatly appreciated thx

Sounds like you have all your ducks in a row, just make sure that when you pick the surgeon, he/she does too! As I've said, depending on your location this forum is a great place to start, some of the best are right here!

Breast or fat?  We do not even try to distinguish between the two.  The most common finding is a mound of fat with glandular tissue threaded through it.  That finding would be the same for women also. So at what percentage of glandular tissue do we draw the line?
So we call excessive breast growth on a male Gynecomastia.  There is no such thing as Pseudo-Gynecomastia.
