I am veyy hairy, had very high sex drive in my youth. I saw somewhere that too much testosterone could be converted to estrogen and cause gynecomastia. Any truth to that? Any chance as I hit my 60s and testosterone drops, my breasts will go away?

High levels of testosterone can lead to gynecomastia. Once you develop the gynecomastia however, reduction in the levels of testosterone won't reverse the gynecomastia.

Thanks, I wish someone had told me that in my late 20's!

High sex drive in your youth is pretty much a normal finding,it is not in and of itself an indication of high testosterone. I would agree with Dr. Schuster that once you have gynecomastia reduction of testosterone ,which occurs normally with age, will not result in dissipation of the gynecomastia.
