I obviously have some body fat to shed but I have had this chest since I was a young kid no matter how much I weighed. In basketball if I was on shirts I would shoot about 50%, if I was on skins about 15% because of remarks, self-conscious, etc. I'm 5'8" and my adult weight has ranged from 165-225 with quite a bit of weight training. The chest doesn't change. Could surgery help?

Weight and BMI seem to be irrelevant for my chest. I have frequently worn a 46 jacket with 34 waist pants. Hard to buy that off the rack. My shoulders are very wide so when I did weight 165 people thought I was sick. Probably 175-180 is a great weight for me. Right now I am 195. From more than 30 years of experience I would be shocked if 15 pounds made a difference in the boobs.

also, could someone tell me how they know they have glandular tissue under their nipple? I mean, would you KNOW if you had it? Is it hard to detect? The reason is I feel what feels like small fat globules under my nipples but more so on my left than my right. I guess I want to know if it would be obvious if I had it and would I not be asking this question if I had it?
depends from case to case.  there's no mistaking mine, it's kind of disks, but what you describe is probably a very reduced form of the same thing.
