started exercising to lose weight a year back. Thus far there is notable progress in all other parts of my body other than the chest region. Is this gyno? I have been having a rather meaty chest for the past 5 years, I am 19 now. is there a possibility for it to go away naturally?

Great that you have been exercising and losing weight.  And yes, you have gynecomastia, which is notorious for being resistant to exercise -- it simply won't go away no matter how much weight you lose.

Recommend you get down to the best weight possible and then, if your boobs still bother you, consult with an expert in gyne surgery.

Good luck!
