I had this problem for about 3 years, since i was 13. Took Tamoxifen (oestrogen blocker i believe) because doctor said 80% of all his patients saw all the breast tissue disappear. Used it for 5 months and there was some improvement but not enough for my liking. I'm unlucky in that both my parents have siblings who have gone through this condition. I took surgery which left bad scars but i'm nevertheless very very happy. I live in Zimbabwe (Southern Africa) so finding a specialist surgeon was next to impossible. Tamoxifen cured the puffy nipples until I stopped. Here it is not a prescription drug but ask your doctor before use. It helped my brother lose his nut sized groth under one nipple and also cured hid puffy nipples. Tamoxifen also has no side effects so i recommend everyone suffering from this to ask their doctor about it.

Please tell me how bad my condition was compared to what you have seen if you have time...

it might have helped the puffy, but you can see it didn't fix the rest of the gyne, which is why you needed the rest of the operation, which is the boat that most of us are in.  congrats on getting the reduction, though i guess your options were limited, since a lot of ps's in the states try to hide and minimize scarring a little more.  but i bet you're glad for the improvement.  welcome to the board.
* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?

you may need to be more specific exactly who you're speaking to and what you're referring to.  are you even on the right thread?
