(another 'do i have it' thread)

23 year old here.  I'm 217 pounds.  6 foot 3.  I'm not sure if it's mainly fat or gyne.  Or maybe both?  I'm starting to exercise now, to see how much fat I can burn off.  But what do you think?

I'll admit, I'm one fat bastard!  Got a huge beer belly!  Anyways, I'd appreciate your opinions.  Cheers!

Well I'm no expert, but I'm not sure. I mean, you weigh quite a lot, but for your weight, they're not all that big (I weigh quite a bit less than you, and my boobs are bigger).

Then again, I only have mine to compare, so I think you should wait for some more opinions. :)

hey, thx for the reply!  most of my body fat is centered around my belly.  it's kind of annoying - gives my body an akward shape.

i just don't know if i have gyne or fat :( or maybe it's both?  should i opt for surgry?  i really don't know what to do!  it's been bothering me for the past 4 or 5 years :(

Well, IMHO, you should try to lose some weight first and see what happens. If your boobs don't decrease, you have gyno...mine haven't...that sucks really...you shape your body quite nicely, lose lots of fat, but you still have boobs...that looks even worse then if you're a bit fat.  ;D

I don't think you have it.  For you to have that much belly, you are bound to have a little titty to go with it.  I think you could lose that in 60 days if you put your mind to it.  Plus, if you got your chest worked on, it would make your stomach look bigger.  You don't have the frame of a fat person, so I bet you it would be easy to change a few things and make it all go away.

Doesn't look too bad.

But maybe try getting into better shape and if it still bothers you go talk to a surgeon.

hey, thx everyone for the responses!  so, you are all saying that i 'DON'T' have gyne... right?  It's just that whenever i put on t-shirts, my boobs are just so pointy, and make an impression on the t-shirts.  it's very frustrating.  fat? gyne?  Heeeeeeelp!  what is it?

i think i should just try loose some weight, and see where that takes me... but i don't want to be dissapointed, and left with 'boobs' that don't go away because of gyne.  i'm a little discouraged becausae of that. thx again those above!

Well it doesn't really matter what we think.  Only how you feel about it is important.

Some peeps here are far worse, so you look good from their perspective.

You're on the right track though ;)

hahaha, I was trying to be supportive.  Your response indicates I was unsuccessful.

I mean you're on the right track with asking all the questions and deciding to try losing weight first to see how that works out.

As to whether or not you should try surgery, I'd say only if it bothers you so much that it prevents you from enjoying life to its fullest.

Gyne's there but do some sports first and see what the results are.
