Leisure bras

Hey fellas!🤗

It's been a little quiet here lately so I wanted to bring up a sorta new subject. I know that it's been kicked around a bit but, I was wondering if any of you have any sleep/ leisure bras in your top drawer? and if so, how do you utilize them?

I know that unless I am taking a bath or in the shower ( or "otherwise engaged withmy wife 🥰), I have some sort of bra or breast support in place.

On my lazy days around the house,I may just keep a leisure bra on for the day I I'm just doing light house work or watching TV. I just don't feel comfortable being braless. I usually sleep in a leisure bra and wake up and drink my morning coffee like that.

If I have company over, I switch to an underwire bra. I won't even answer my door in my sleep bra.  Maybe it's a little extreme, but, it's one of my insecurities.

I was just curious and creating conversation. Maybe I'm being silly about it and maybe it's how I was raised about needing to wear a bra.  

Do any of you fellas out there wear leisure bras? Do you feel secure enough to go out in public with minimal support in exchange for comfort and convenience?

I have a couple of leisure bras. I will wear them at night and on the weekends. I have them in both pull over and hook and eye depending on the mood or usage.

Leisure time around the house I wear a light pullover bra or just a camisole. If working around the house I put on a bra that is way more supportive.

I have 2 that I like to wear around the house at times depends on the mood if its those or aregular bra
 so far i only wear them at home but have thought about wearing them out
Now that it is winter and wearing flannel shirts and jackets I dont think its going to be noticed
actuall y the ones I wear, valmont are just as supportive as any other sports bra that I wear wether pullover or hook which are my preference  to hard with bad shoulders pulling them over

I don't own any leisure bras, since I think that with my bra size 40 C they don't seem to be necessary. So I can't sleep in them either. But during the day I always wear my firm Doreens. As soon as spring comes I have to change to a bra that is not so obvious. It may seem ridiculous but I am still shy to show the 'mounds' on my chest. Sophie, as a woman you are blessed that you can wear your bras even under tight fitting blouses.

Believe me John, I truly do know how you feel😔 and I am sorry 😞. I remember how I felt. 

It wasn't until my late 20s and early 30's, after 15 years of wearing a bra, that I finally didn't care what people thought. I had breasts and had to wear a bra. Things became easier for me after that.

As a woman, wearing a bra is something that is expected of me. As a man, it's difficult to even find acceptance. I totally agree that it's unfair that I can wear cute tops that flatter my figure and work well with supported breasts. I know how frustrating it can be. 

I know that my path is one that most of you don't wish to follow. I know that womanhood is not for everyone. It was for me. It was the best difficult decision that I have ever made. 

Regardless, we should all be able to wear what we want without being judged. I know that when I started wearing blouses that were designed for a feminine figure, I loved how they fit. I was being asked all the time, not about my boobs or my bra, but, about if I had lost weight! It turned out that everyone was very well aware about both having boobs and that I wore a bra. I guess that I wasn't the              " master of disguise " that I thought I was.

Wow, funny you should bring this up.  Just last weekend I started to think about looking into one or something like that.
There are many times I think that is all that may be needed.  I would like to try a front closing one.  I haven't had much luck with a traditional front closure.  I just don't have the dexterity for a pullover. 
Inexpensive comfort with a little support.  I guess I'll have to make work of it.

Orb you could always try a rear hook like I wear . just hook it in the front and spin it around as i said the ones i wear do a as good a jobas any of my other sport bras

Out and about I almost always wear a bra.
At home during the day, not always.
At night, as one lady from Texas once said (in response to a sales associate recommending a sleep bra):
"Ah keep 'em corralled all day, at night Ah let em roam free."  Works for me.

When leisurely around I just go braless at a small c cup I feel comfortable with them hanging out they get in the way and the movement is minimal and support doesn’t feel worrisome natural.

I am now starting to experience weight after I get home. 

Hurts to no wear a bra at times.   
As I write this, I feel pulling on the area around by the bottom of my clavicle to just around the nipps. 

It's a weird feeling and the lower portion of my breasts ach with the feeling of growth. 

I havent considered a leasure bra, and wonder If I need to think about it.

I have been wearing leisure bras at home for the last few years after I too began to experience a need to be supported without the need for a more structured seamed or underwire bras if I was mostly hanging out at home without doing anything that might cause a need for more support of my chest and I have found comfort at night as well keeping the girls from shifting too much after I began to experience more weight and size. Leisure bras use a form of compression for support but use different materials to provide that without the crushing compression of lycra or other more ridge materials. You will still have some movement but it is dampened quite a bit and makes long term wear a pleasure and relief. Leisure bras are wonderful for those of us who like support outside of normal daytime wear but don't want or need more rigid support.

I have been wearing bras for nearly 6 years now and never leave the house without one.  After some trial and error, I arrived at the conclusion that a leisure bra was quite adequate for  my needs.  They don't lift and shape the underarm boob like an underwire does, but they do keep things from moving around.  I even wear one for mountain biking, which is why I ended up needing a bra in the first place.

My first choice has been the Rhonda Shear Ahhh Bra.  They are inexpensive and there are  no hooks or strap adjusters to show through my clothes.  I have caught people staring at  my chest (always women), but I think they are seeing the breasts, not the bra, so I never give that a second thought.  They are sized according to chest measurement and the cups are one size fits all.  As noted, they do compress the breasts a bit but not the way a sports bra does.  Recently I have been switching over to the Hanes Get Cozy bra which is also a pullover but a bit more heavy duty. 

If you are much bigger than a C cup, you should probably go get fitted for a big girl bra but I think a leisure bra is the perfect solution for a guy who wants to ease into bra wearing without the embarassment of getting fitted, at least until you are comfortable wearing one in public.  The first trip to Home Depot is scary but you can do it.

That said, I do own several underwire bras which I wear occasionally.  Recently I have gone several weeks at a time wearing nothing but underwires and I am comfortable with them, but I still find the pullovers adequate for most daily wear.  YMMV.  I know 90% of the guys on here prefer underwires, but there is a handful of us who love our pullovers.

I am like Felix in this.  For the most part, I wear seamless, no clasp pull-overs (or you can step into them).  I've worn Ahh Bras, Rhonda shears, and currently like the Hanes (from WalMart, so inexpensive).
But I have worn underwire bras - and like everyone else here - found they do support better and mitigate side boobing. Easier to see I'm wearing a bra, though - more projection and more visible straps, clasps, etc.
Any more development, however, and it's probably going to be switching to underwires for the most part.
Still, around the house and in bed it's usually no bra.

Any well fitting bra to the point where it is so comfortable that you forget your wearing one, might be considered a leisure bra😃.. the fit to me is the most important thing.
