My surgery cost $535 CAD, which is like US 400. Most of it was covered by OHIP (Government medical insurance).

Ahh mainly the young and poor want govermental health insurance here in the U.S. The old farts are against it b/c it would lower their coverage.

3,000 total in Lansing MI.  Excision and lypo.  22 dollars for meds, and vest and follow ups included.

$525 Hospital Fee              +
$500 Anesthesia Fee

= $3525 including vests, meds, all that stuff. Not bad but damn health insurance should have payed. Hey, at least the service was great! (1 day post op and i got a phone call from the hospital AND the doc! ;D)

Counting all the times i went to see the doctor... the whole thing came out to be about $120. Surgery was covered by my  insurance. ;)

that's like saying you paid eighty bucks for a burrito, but it tasted okay.  i'm glad you got it, i just can't believe anyone would soak you like that, i'd be reporting them to the nearest medical ethics people i could find.  mind if i ask who?

Alright. At least it was alright results, and not something like, okay, or even mediocre ::). Wow 22k Yeah it would be good to post who it was and what they actually did. Was it just lipo and/or incision or was there more to it?
