Surgery Yesterday
Well I had Surgery yesterday, June 30 at 1:00 p.m. I'll try to post pics soon. It's only been a day but I like the way everything turned out.

Can you guys beleive that the worst part was putting in the IV, I almost passed out! Oh yea my back is killin' me from laying on it all this time and the compression vest is really really snug, but hey I got some good news...I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance.

When they did my IV the anesthesiologist gave me an injection of local anesthetic on the vein and then put in the IV catheter.  The freaking anesthetic injection hurt as much a getting the IV straight up.  I give blood every 8 weeks so I'm used to getting stuck.  I thought it was funny that he stuck me with a needle so he could stick me with a needle.

speaking of cannulas, when my anaesthetist found out that I am a doctor, he paniced and could not put the cannula in the first attempt........scary.
