Almost all those I know who have gyne had it some time during puberty…
So my question is: if you had it during puberty; once you are over that stage did your gyne shrink a little or became somewhat less severe…

No, did not reduce in size after puberty. However, with weight loss/gain, the size fluctuated.

It runs in the family for me, So there was little to no shrinkage as I matured.

I eventually wound up with very heavy hair all over my body (I have more hair on my back than most men have on their chest) and for me the heavy mat of hair seems to hide it slightly. Thinking otherwise, I shaved my chest and the Gynecomastia was immediately much more obvious.

might have receded very slightly in the forward direction, unless i've just gotten pudgy and less buff  ;)  but not in the other directions.
* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?
