I am excited that I am finally moving forward with taking care of the gyno.  I'm 44 years old and have had this since around 10 or 11 years old.  For many years I didn't know it could be taken care of.  Finally when I was old enough to start checking around in the early '80s the only plastic surgeon office that I had the nerve to check in with didn't know anything about gynecomastia and I was too embarrassed to persue things any further at that time.  Then, I started a family and with all of the expenses and committments that come with that, my gyno was pushed to the bottom of the list of important things. So, here I am 30 some years into the future and finally have appointments with the endocrinologist, two plastic surgeons for consultations, and information flooding my inbox for ways to finance the procedure once I decide who is doing it.  I hope to have it done this late fall going into winter as it would be less conspicuous to those around me.
Thank you to all of those who have shared their stories here that gave me the hope and motivation to get things moving..........

I haven't been to the gym for a couple of months due to spending time working with my daughter on applying for scholarships so she can go to college this fall but prior to that, I was going and working out 3 times per week for a couple of years straight and the gyno never even reduced in size.  I did, however, have better toned muscles underneath than what I have now.

I appreciate the comments though and I am planning on getting to the gym again starting tomorrow. ;)
