Hi, I have a question to ask. Should I stop taking athletic supplements/prescription medications prior to surgery? Currently I take creatine, nitric oxide, protein, diet pills and acne medication. I understand that all of this is a bit overwhelming to take in conduction and I'm not particularly proud of the diet pills. But I've lost 90lb over the last year with a drastic diet/excersize alteration and the help of diet pills. I'm kind of freaking out about the anesthetics now and I'm wondering if I should lay off all this stuff for a while and just lift weights "naturally"?

Your doctor should advise you on this, but if I was you i'd stop taking all that crap a month before surgery if i was you...don't want any strange chemical reactions when they inject you with the anesthetic.  At the very least you should be informing your doctor about everything that you are taking before surgery.
Surgery done 18th March 2008

I figured as much. I'm laying off the N.O and all pills.
