I have pretty severe gyno (As confirmed by surgeon). I have a lot of glandular tissue and some fatty tissue.

I currently go to university, so I was wondering: if I had surgery on a wednesday or thursday, would I be ok to return to class on the following monday (4-5 days post-op basically)?

I know for work I'll have to take about 2-3 weeks off because my job involves some lifting, but I'd like to get back into class as soon as possible.

I didn't schedule surgery yet because I was wondering about this. If recovery takes too long I'll have to schedule it either January or next summer.

Thanks.

How do you go to school? Walking to public transport or driving would be fine but if you'll need to use a bicycle I would advise against it personally.

Most of my patients can return to sedentary activities (work, school classes) within 3 days after surgery.  Anything that requires physical exertion should be avoided for a few weeks.
