What are the ways the patient (male or female) can do to minimize the spreading of the incisions after a Peri-Areolar Mastopexy lift is done?

Thank you

The most accepted method to prevent scar widening is with the use of a permanent purse-string suture just under the skin.  The problem is that it is very palpable just beneath the skin.

On occasion, the suture can be removed a year later when the forces tending to spread the scar have relaxed somewhat.
