Yep, it's been a year now since my surgery and I can't remember when I last logged on to the board.  I was getting dressed one morning last week and it suddenly occurred to me that I choose sweaters and polo shirts, etc. to wear without the slightest concern that I have to cover and conceal.

Hang in there guys.  There really is a solution to our common problem.

Although I was very unhappy about my personal situation, it wasn't until I found this board that I understood how light a case I really had.  Mine was done with lipo only and the little bit of fibrous breast tissue I had my surgeon took out during the lipo with the cannula he calls the "vegetable peeler."  So, the only scars I had (note I used past tense) were way, way out to the side.  They have since faded to absolute invisibility.

He had me wear ace bandage compression for two weeks and I'd say I was fully healed in three months.  There was some residual tenderness in the nipple area and I had relatively little swelling.  But I'm normal in all areas now.
