I workout a lot, I used to be fat, and I lost over 100 lbs and now I am ~170 lbs, but the gyno is so persistent. Although, with a shirt it looks like I have a muscular chest (and I have a muscular frame to make it seem real). But without a shirt I look pretty bad (as you can see). Can anyone rate my gyno on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst? I really need to know if I have to go for surgery. And where would I find a good sergeant around CT? Thanks  :-[

yeah, about that, looks a little more obvious to one side, and yes only surgery will fix it.  the losing weight is good to do but doesn't improve gyne any.  there may be qualified people in ct too, but silverman up in boston's pretty good.
* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?

Thanks for the replies, and yes, I do realize that there is loose skin with the glands. Any exercise tips that can help pull the skin back into place? Thanks.

In regards to tightening the skin, you have two options. 1) fill in the loose skin with muscle, which could take forever but possible 2) remove excess skin by surgery. In my opinion, go with the latter!!

To be honest, when I first found out I had gyno, I mainly concentrated on doing exercises that targeted the chest muscles, and to this day my chest muscles are very firm and big (I can move them underneath all of that excess gyno tissue and they even bulge out on the top end of the breast area). I thought that if I always flexed my chest muscles, which therefore raised my "breasts," they would look more real in clothing, but in all reality, I've never had a problem with clothing and my gyno, no one ever expected it, they just think i have big chest muscles, but without a shirt it's real evident.

But because there seems to be excess skin with the gyno tissue, would this surgery run over $5000 in total? And especially for someone around the CT/MA/NY area? Thanks
