I already know i need to be patient , but just to clear my head i wanna ask you guys something. I got my unilateral gyno surgery a week ago, 4 day after surgery my nipple was perfect, but it swollen back ( as it normally does ) but my question is , since i didnt get any compression vest will that affect anything in my healing and final results ? i heard its used to compress the skin into the muscle ( wich in my case clearly is not )and avoid fluids and stuff. Im a little worrier that il see a bad result after seeing it the way i wanted

EDIT : i forgot to meantion, my surgery was not lipo etc, since im very low fat % ( around 8 9 % )all i had was a hard lump that made my nipple way bigger and puffy then the other, so all it was mad as a small incision around the aorela

It is my standard procedure to request firm compression for a minimum of 4-6 weeks -- this is done with a vest or a binder.

Other surgeons have other methods.

Best to return to your surgeon to discuss.
