Swelling Question
Its been about 4 weeks since my surgery and as I was wearing the vest, it kept everything flat. I have had the vest off for about a week now and it seems that its swelled some. Is this common? How long does it take for this swelling to go down. Thanks for the help.

I would think so.  But, I would think it should not last long.  Give the doc a call and confirm though

swelling lasts for about 3 weeks max.  after that u prob have bruises still left.  the time after yr chest just re-adjusts its and evens out a bit, but this is not swelling, thats they body own natural procedure in mending itself.

So is it ok then?? It almost seems like its coming back cause the nipples are almost protruding out a little bit but maybe its like what you said the body readjusting. Just worried me a little but I remember reading a pamphlet that said you might not see the full efffects until after 2 months. I guess I'll see what happens.
