Hi Guys,

After a long time of having the breast chest and about 6 months of saving i have booked and paid for the surgery with Alex Karidis in two days time. I was quite lucky i had the money already saved before hunting for surgeons and choose to as i knew I have been wanted it for over a year now after trying everything else in the book. I first contacted the clinic on 7.06.10 and managed to book a consultation on 09.06.10, luckily a cancellation and then after that consultation with Alex I was 110% he was the man, he was the first surgeon i had seen and was convince the only one i would need to see. i just paid the deposit and booked the surgery for 29.06.10, again another cancellation! Fast tracked to say the least.

It was not a rushed decision, I have been thinking about it for a while and i must say after doing hardcore research last month, I had no luck with menshealth or any other site and came across this one and thank god I got some direction and extra boost to getting the op and with a reputable surgeon who's website says it all really.

thanks to all the guys on here who have posted valuable information and experiences.

Without a shadow of a doubt Karidis is the MAN for this, I knew it as soon as i saw his website, has pre and post op pics of work he has done and has the FAQs which i needed answering for so long.

I know the 4.3 K is alot for most people you could do alot with it and it can take time to save but depending on how badly it can effect peoples life I say graft as soon as you can and save every little penny cause even before the op I am having I am going to say it will have a HUGE impact on my life no matter on the outcome as my expectations are not as high due to the the length of having them. I think ever since puberty and it has had the usual psychological effects and social issues alot of suffers have had and I am no different.

I have one particular question for those who have had surgery is that is it worth taking arncia tablets before the surgery or should i just wait till after? Does Karidis supply these or will i have to go and get them?

anyway i will continue to post now and will put up pics probably after surgery now of pre and post op. mine is a glandular issue and the puffy nips. i exercise regularly and am 5"7 and weigh 12stone 5 pounds.

If anyone has any questions I will certainly answer them if i can.

thats it for now will add more later!

sorry jakey and to the other guys, i have been on a rollacoaster of a road to recovery and not been able to come on this site since i last posted. I am currently 10 days post op. The op went well. I have written a full diary of the op day which is like two pages long! so i have gone against pasting it on here as i have minuted every thing thats happened on that day and it may be a bore. if you would like to read about it feel free to let me know and i will send it to you.

I am so delighted with my progress. I have copied in links of my pre and post op pics. I had a large amounts of glandular tissue removed. I think around 21g from the right and 18g from the left. I also had around half a litre of fat lipo'd from each side.

I would just like to praise the quality of care i have received from St John's and Elizabeths's Hospital and Dr. Karidis and his team, especially Chantelle so far, they are so supportive.

Unfortunately I did not get to see or thank Dr. Karidis himself after the op as he was busy all day, but i will savour this moment at my 6 week post check up.

I have had an eventful 10 days so far post op. I will tell you guys what has happened within the next few days. I think what I went through might help people looking to get this surgery done so please keep posted.

for now here are some pics...

The vest which was a size small proved to be abit irritating as you can see it has caused some inflammation to the right armpit causing it to swell, itch and go red. I have applied savalon on it every now to ease the itchiness and then and now it has got alot better.

I had that reaction from the waterproof bandages on my armpit incisions, might not be the vest just keep on applying your savlon but wear the vest. Dont put bandages on there anymore i had the exact same reaction

Youve got a good result there well done, if you really want to make the most of it get some Veet hair removal ... ive got a natually hairy body it looks so much better clean shaven. Glad your sorted mate really big difference :)

Thanks mate, its healing nicely im like 95% energy wise. The problem I got looking at my nips is slight creasing under my right one. I know creasing is pretty common post surgery and should heal with time. Is it too early to do anything about it? yep still wearing the vest 24/7, uncomfortable but needs to be done i guess!

Veet hair removal?  :o ::) ::) ::) ::)    Give me a break...........  I tried that stuff once and ended up burning half my skin off, nasty nasty stuff.

Creasing may improve with  time, I wouldn't do anything with it at the moment, 7 days post op is a bit early to be massaging or anything IMO.   Your case was pretty bad pre-op (hard to hide I bet), so slight creasing is a small price to pay for a flat chest  and it already looks 90%,  Give it 6 months and I am sure you will never be able to tell there was a problem there at all.

Yeah don't worry about creasing yet, i wouldn't even analyse your chest yet anyway its way to early. Your before after shots show a huge difference. Ive got some slight creasing but it kind of looks natural i don't look like ive had surgery at all!

I swear by veet you've really got to follow the instructions, dont leave it on any longer than said. Then once your done cover yourself with moisturiser wake up the next day and bam no itchiness no red marks. Sorted!

thanks for the replies guys. I cant believe the difference, anything what happens now is a bonus as being flatter was my main concern.

kingboob - Oh defo i would do everything i could to hide it for all those years. I had to do everything it took for me to hide it, for the last year i wore a gc2 compression garment which really helped get flatter but i would just get hot and sweaty real quick so i knew it was a temp solution to the problem. I worked out hard last year and it helped as everyone thought i was on steds as they saw what they thought were pecs, thats probably why alot of guys do work out to try and cover it up.

thetodd - Yeah ichiness is really getting to me now with the vest on as the hair around the nips i shaved is growing back! I will pop to boots tomorrow and get some aswell as some arnica cream. Is there any point taking arnica tabs longer than 2 weeks? I just cant wait to wear this vest only during the night and not 24/7 it literally getting on my breasts! lol

Looks like you got great results mate! Are you happy with it? Have your issues with creasing etc started to settle?

thanks pal. iv still got creasing. my right nip still feels like it stuck to the tissue underneath. i will raise it with Dr. Karidis when i have my check up soon. I am very happy. if it gets better I will be even happier. Its not perfect but if i keep looking at what i had... you can only be happy with how i progress so far. Rubbing bio oil and massaging every day for about 10 mins each side. still wearing the compression vest at night as i dont know when exactly to stop wearing it! i think it helps!
