Hey all, is it normal for my nipples to be kind of flaky and dried out a bit? I'm a male 19 years old.

Thanks for any help.

This is a great site for people with concerns and someone you can relate to.

;DMine are too. I'd say it is pretty normal. Is it pretty cold where you are?

I find if I go out running for miles when it's cold my nips get a bit sore and dry.In the summer not an issue.  Maybe change the soap you use in the bath/shower ? Failing this if they are getting more irritated go to the docs as he gave me some cream that sorted mine called

'fucidin' and it works a treat.

This is farily normal and can occur from time to time.
I have had this too. You may try to use some sort
of lubrication if you are really dry.

Moisturize. Hydrate.

You may just have a prediliction for dry skin, or perhaps there's been too much friction on your nipples.

A person is supposed to drink eight 8oz. glasses of water a day, just to achieve adequate hydration (thereby avoiding dry skin, flaky nipples, chapped elbows, etc.). And if you're drinking caffeine or alcohol, you'll need more water than that!
