I emailed mr levick a few pics 2 weeks ago and got a reply the same day but i dont know if he was actually retired at that time. I'm 8 weeks post op tday an not really happy at present. Ive finished with compression now, still a little tender in spots near top of the chest. I am becoming very concerned about a bad crease on my right side just under the areola its about 2 inches long , in the last month it hasn't improved at all. I am massaging every day. Has anyone whos had this got any advice? Will it sort itself out intime? Its really depressing

Hi guys, I've heard from Dr Levick since he retired. I emailed him for advice and he did come straight back to me, he also said he wasn't keen on retirement ! regarding the creasing issue, I'm still suffering the same as you. To be honest I'm sure it will sort itself out in time, it's still early days. My left side is hardly noticeable but my right side still has 3 creases. Dr Levick said as the nerves repair everything should shrink back , he said my pictures were perfectly normal at this stage .

No mate, I contemplated going to see him but he put my mind at rest after I emailed him. I can't fault him, he's always come back to me. I still don't feel I'm up to going swimming yet, even though my Mrs said you'd really have to look to find fault I'm still conscious of the nipple and the indent. On the other hand I'm so happy to be able to wear t shirts and not worry about it!!
If you want me to pop any pics up for comparison please ask mate :)

Yes same as Charlie, emailed him last week and got a response back same day. I've also got bad creases under both nipples and my left aerola is so tender to touch/borderline painful. He says its normal and it's the nerves repairing themselves. The right side is fine (though creased) but this is surprising as i had fluid issues with it at start.

Mr Levick will reply as normal but he is not able to give surgical advice anymore because he is retired.
it takes months for all the swelling to go down and I do mean months a few little creases I wouldn't worry about they should go.. 8 weeks is nothing a revision wouldn't even be considered till you was past 6 months.
If though you did happen to need a revision Vik Vijh is doing any revisions of Mr Levicks patents.
Vik has also taken on Julie Mr Levicks secretary and the phone number should be the same.

I have met Vik and he his really nice and he will be operating on me next year as I do need another revision ....(this will be the 4th operation)

I might potentially need a revision, been 2 years and I have scar tissue the size of the gyne under skin and up towards armpit where incision was. Are revisions covered in the cost of the original surgery with Levick? How long for?
Cheers

I replied to your pm mate..... Long story short the original deal with levick still stands only vik has taken over.
Cheers Charlie an Stan.... Yeah been a nightmare levick said he's done 1000s of these ops but mines the one he will always remember because it was the one that went wrong..... I have had haematoma and seroma I'm right now having steroid injections into the scar tissue and facing another op next year.. Vik won't touch me till I have totally healed from the last one in June.. So June next year  before I get a revision.
