Hey everybody,
It has actually been two whole years since I have really been on this site. I recently received a message from a member asking me about my surgery so I decided to get on and post something.
It really doesnt seem that long ago that I was on this site exploring my options and seeing what other people went through. It took about 2 months after discovering this site for me to meet up with doctors and schedule my surgery. It all happened really fast, but it was the greatest decision I ever made.
The recovery lasted maybe a month until I was fully mobile, and probably 2-3 months before I was back in the gym and playing sports....and even going shirtless sometimes in the process. I've been to the beach, the pool, and a bunch of other public places after the surgery and nobody ever even questioned if I had anything done, maybe because I was so good at hiding it before.
But I just wanted to hop on here and say, it may be hard to decide whether to get it done, and it may be expensive, but if I had to go back and do it again I would without any question. I feel like my life didn't actually start until I had this operation. Im in my early 20s now so I have a couple years of catching up to do.

Goodluck to all.
