Hi

I had surgery 19th December on both sides. Lipo and gland removal. Now after 4 weeks I notice that I have a crater on the right side when I flex my chest.

I've been looking through the threads, but haven't seen any similar yet.

Will it get better with time? Or will I need a new surgery??

So I'll post pics (sorry for bad quality on some of them)

1.Before op
2.Post op with flex
3.Post op close-up

I had surgery on the 16th December last and had a similar deformity on the right side which is improving with time. My PS told me it was a factor of the swelling and a normal part of recovery.

Let your body do it's thing, stay well hydrated, eat well and exercise and in a few months all should look perfect!

It is only a month after surgery -- so you have a lot of healing to go.  Sometimes there can be post-operative swelling as well.

Recommend you keep in frequent touch with your surgeon, however. If the left side doesn't improve significantly in 4-6 months, then you may need a revision.

It would make sense to me that swelling could cause the nipples to protrude however how could it cause a crater deformity?

Sometimes there can be swelling above and below the areola, which might make it look depressed.

Thanks for the answers. Then I'll just wait and give it time.
