So, this time tomorrow I will be under the skillful hand of Paul Levick.

Have to say that although I've been pretty cool recently I've started to get slightly apprehensive over the last day or two. Last minute nerves I suppose.

I don't know what to say really - tomorrow evening I will be rid of the dreaded gynecomastia and getting ready to reap the rewards of a normal chest. Something tells me I won't be able to sleep very well tonight. Today will drag aswell; I'll be wandering round the house, double-checking I've prepared everything for the trip.

I'm quite looking forward to the journey home for some reason. Bit strange, not sure why.

I've got used to the compression vest now, although it still does fell a bit odd.

Had a bath last night, and strangely, I was sort of saying "goodbye" to my boobs. Not that I'll miss them or anything. :)

So, the next few weeks of recovery will almost certainly be quite unpleasant, but I never thought it would be anything else. I'm just looking forward to later in the year when things are back to normal. Hopefully I will have beaten the belly by that point too!

Watch this space.
Another happy Levick Lad.

AJP,

All the best mate.

I was quite nervous/excited the night before and didn't get much sleep either. Surprisingly, I was also pretty excited the night after surgery and this kept me awake then also.

Enjoy the Priory experience, you'll be well looked after.

Good luck,

Merv.

Cheers for the support lads.

I can deal with alot of emotions, but one that I hate is apprehension; knowing something big is about to happen but having to wait for it. Evil!

I'm just trying to do things that take my mind off it at the moment.

I'm looking forward to all those nurses! ;D

Watching some porn always helps pass some time away ;) especially if your waiting on a delivery of something nice. Put on the porn and without fail the delivery guy will come halfway through  ;D

I'm having a bit of trouble getting my brain to work. I keep thinking I'll forget to take something!

So far, I've got:

Dressing gown
Toothbrush & toothpaste
Magazine

I know there's probably lots more I need but I just can't think straight.

Come on lads, help me out! :-[

Well, I'm more or less set then.

Feel a bit silly asking you guys what to take, but it's weird how these things can impede normal thought processes!

Thanks again.

Already paid over the phone with the card. One less thing to worry about.

Got everything sorted now, just going to chill out and watch the footy tonight, try and get some rest, and wake up to what should be a great day (in the long term of course!)

Speak to you soon. :D
