Guys,

I got my surgery done on sept 5th finally. Both lipo and excision were done. I am sorry i have mentioned in my earlier thread that only lipo had been performed. Its only yesterday when i went to the Dr to get the drains removed, i realized that excision was also done.
Any way, please see my pictures pre-op and post-op and give your feed back. I need your suggestions and feedback.
However, I feel i had a considerable muscle also in my chest. After the surgery i feel like my muscle is also being removed? Any idea?

Thanx Bro!! My Dr is Jeffords Keith, Smyra, GA. his clinic name is Paramount Plastic Surgery. I got to know about this from this site (gynecomastia.org). Dr is a very nice guy. I remember before i went to sleep on my surgery day he said to me not be nervous and he said 'I Promise you, i will take good care of you'.  I would highly recommend this Dr for anybody....

The incision was under the nipples. Very small incisions. Drains were on the side of my chest. they were removed 2 days later....

At first I thought you just had lypo just from the way your chest looked, but since you said that you also got excession, I think your results will last.  It's just something about lypo alone that says insufficient to me.  I  don't know, my first surgery looked just like yours post op, then after 2 months, and after the compression vest, my nips puffed out again, and my contour became rounded again like a womans chest.  After I had the gland removed, and lypo, (in which im still in recovery) I just feel and look different.  I'm steal swollen, but the gland that was pushing out my nips is gone,a nd the lypo has sucked out the extra fat that was keeping my muscle from being shown.  its like I have the best of both worlds, and all I have to do is be patient, wait for the swelling to go down, and exercise which will tighten my skin, and allow my pecs and chest muscles to show, rather than having a fit upper chest with the roundedness that comes with a remaining gland chunk circling my nip area.  That circular gland which pushes out your nip also gives you that cone shape which is synonomus with a girls shape that we don't want.  I think you've done the right thing by getting both done, and yes, your results will only get better.  As for that muscle you think was cut out, don't worry..it wasn't the muscle that was cut out.  Picture this..Your chest was full at first being pushed out by the gland.  This makes the bottom of your chest uneven to the top part, so when you have lypo and gland excession, the bottom is brought down from the gland being gone, and the top will have the lypo to match and contour the top to look like the bottom.  Now your gonna have swelling in both areas which will subside at different times, so it may look like you have holes in your chest or uneven areas, but that is most likely sweling subsiding at different paces as well as scar tissue which will subside in time..(you can also have keglog shots to get that done faster)  You have done the right thing my friend and you will see what Im talking about in due time.  So wait awhile and work your chest out with light reps, and you'll be grinning all the way to the beach.  Also...Won't it feel great to finally be able to get that six pack and not worry about your chest sticking out?  Your on the other side my friend, and don't let early worrys about recovery detour you from realizing that....

Thanx for the support Bro!! i hear you. i can't wait to wear those muscle t-shirts which i have been thinking of wearing from a long time. Every time i went for shopping i used to think that one day i will buy these. There was one embarassing moment when i cried in the dressing room after trying the muscle t-shirt. I can't forget that ever in my life...any way now i am on the other side...thanx to y'all people on this site and the admin of this site with out whome, i would not have had enough motivation and support to get this surgery done....Thanx to all again...

Awesome results man!

I'm also in Atlanta and hoping to get a consult with Dr. Jeffords soon.

Just wondering, how old are you and your stats....like height & weight.

Also, how'd your pricing come out to be?

The price was relatively cheaper and the results are relatively better. The total cost was about $4535 roughly. This includes the Anesthesia fee, OR fee, 2 vests, surgery fee. the surgery fee was around $2800 which included $400 for compression vests. The Anesthesia $775 and the OR $860. Thats it.....

And i am 5'9'', 200 pounds.

general note, there's a separate board for user photos.

i was worried by the lines at first, i thought they were cuts, then i realized it was probably a sharpie pen to outline the target areas.  but i was a little curious about the two holes in the center, why were they needed if he worked off the areolas?  nice to see the improvement though.

Congrats!
Im slated for Dr. Jeffords for Oct 3 (had to move it from Oct 1). Yes, he is very kind--one of the primary reasons I decided to go with him.

Hi headheldhigh01 ,

Sorry for the late reply. The two holes are from where the PS did lipo. In the very first appointment, he said he would do lipo first and during surgery if he feels the fiberous tissue can't be removed through lipo, he would make incisions and remove it . Thats why two holes and incisions as well.

Some Drs do the incision first and use the same incision for lipo also. My case is little backwards. But i am quite happy with the results.
