Standard After Gynecomastia Pictures for Revision Surgery and even better yet, Standard After Gynecomastia Video are methods to better demonstrate animation defects after surgery.

Deformity after bad gynecomastia surgery often consists of several elements. Options depend on the original problem, what was done, after surgery care, and many other factors. A Crater Deformity is a phrase I coined to describe missing tissue under the areola nipple. This can be accompanied by skin stuck down to the muscle fascia, residual gland, and scar. Craters come in many different degrees. They can be small such as an Inverted Nipples in Men to extensive defects with insufficient local tissues for reconstruction.

I have sculpted many such defects and when there are local resources find my Fat Flap Reconstruction an awesome tool to restore the missing soft tissue defect. I completed many such reconstructions, several of these problems where such that a finger could be sunk into the missing tissue defect before surgery. The fat flaps closed the hole and the other elements of my Dynamic Technique completed my sculpture.

This is usually quite difficult surgery. Look for actual examples of a surgeon's technique before embarking on a possible revision. We help patients explore options during a consultation or a Preliminary Remote Discussion.  If interested in learning more, Jane is my office manager.  She can normally be reached at our office by phone Monday - Friday 9-5 Eastern Time at (804) 748-7737.

Hope this helps,

The photos are not great, but you do look like you have a crater deformity.  Best to return to your surgeon and discuss the issue -- perhaps he can remedy the situation, but more than likely it will require additional surgery.

Alternatively, you could investigate other surgeons for possible revision surgery.

Best of luck to you!

Revision surgery is more difficult and less predictable than primary surgery.  The best option is to consult with an experienced gyne surgeon.  No amount of photos will substitute for a hands-on examination to determine tissue, scar tissue, loss of tissue, etc.  It is only at that time that an expert assessment can be made and recommendations for surgery described to you.  Cost will depend upon the work that needs to be done -- all to be determined at the examination.

regards,

A significant percentage of my practice is Revision Gynecomastia and Chest Surgery for patients unhappy after other doctors' surgery. Revision Gynecomastia surgery is an art form. Options depend on the problem to be treated. To help minimize travel to Virginia, we have evolved the Standard After Gynecomastia Pictures for Revision Surgery and even better yet, Standard After Gynecomastia Video to start the process. This with the operative reports and my extensive experience with revision surgery permits most patients to be able to schedule a tentative surgery the day after their confirmatory in office hands on clinical examination. Some deformities are beyond this remote discussion and need to travel to our office before I can agree to offer surgery. There is no charge to continue this discussion in the office after starting out with our Preliminary Remote Discussion

Crater Deformity is a phrase I developed to describe missing tissue under the areola nipple that looks like a crater as seen both in your images and those I put up on my site.

My most common tool for such defects, when available is my Fat Flap Reconstruction. This evolved from managing the large defects from gland excision. Check out this Gynecomastia Gland Gallery of Pictures. Look at the size of some of the glands removed, especially with the drooping male mastopexy chest lift cases. These fat flaps closed the defects. I then translated this sculpture to the Crater defect.

Cost of Gynecomastia Surgery depends on what needs to be done. Jane is my office manager and can better discuss typical costs and fees.  She can normally be reached at our office by phone Monday - Friday 9-5 Eastern Time at (804) 748-7737.

Hope this helps,
