Will tanning only pronounce a matured, pale scar? Or will it blend in with the rest of my color as I begin to pick up a base tan? Thanks

Scars do not have pigment cells within them -- that is why they are pale or even white.  If you tan your surrounding skin, the scar will appear more prominent against a background of now more tanned skin.

In some cases, if there is sufficient need and motivation, a medical tattoo artist may be able to tattoo some pigment into the scar and camouflage it to some extent.
