Hi I just got my Gynecomastia surgery done yesterday. My case was somewhat minor. I'm into fitness and eating healthy. I was wondering if it would be okay to eat almonds and to use macadamia nut oil in my diet? I know that I'm not supposed to take fish oil supplements or a vitamin E supplement for 2 weeks following surgery. I was just wondering if it was the same for those other food items. Thanks You!

After 48 hours I do not have a problem with what my patients eat.

I agree with Dr. Pensler.  I allow my patients to eat anything afterwards.  I have some restrictions pre-op due to bleeding concerns.
