I've tried to post this earlier, but think I posted in the wrong section.
I'm 10-days post-op, with one side healing nicely (Flattened, healing nipple).

The other side is puffy at the top of the areola complex, dark at the nipple center and bleeding a watery thin blood at the bottom near incision. My surgeon said not to worry and that all is healing fine.

My compression was removed 5-days post-op and I was advised that it's not necessary to continue. Since the compression was removed, I've noticed that the top of the areola on this one side is still puffy and conical like. Is there a chance this could resolve or is that wishful thinking? I can't tell if I'm being negative, paranoid or just see that it's puffy and assuming it will stay that way when I hear about other surgeons on this site having their patients leave the OR with nipples flat and flush to the chest.

Any advice? Am I overthinking at this point? And do I run any risk of wearing compression if I was advised not to?

Thanks for all the help. Photos attached.
