I have done my surgery 9 months ago and i am not satisfied with the results(I had both lipo and gland excision). My chest is not flat and i have a lot of lumps all around the nipple area and near the armpits. Also my nipples are still puffy. If i go for a revision surgery should i choose vaser and gland excision or normal lipo and gland excision.I can't find myself the differences between the 2 lipo methods and i don't know which 1 to choose for the best results(in both cases I will also go for gland excision).Thank you! :-\

What is more important for revision surgery is the experience of your surgeon.  Both vaser or regular lipo work; gland excision is essential in most cases.  If you are returning to your original surgeon, specifically ask him how many revisions he has done.  If needed, try to get a second opinion from another gyne expert surgeon.  Remember, revision surgery is more difficult and less predictable than initial gyne surgery -- you need someone who really knows his stuff.

Good luck!

Thank you Dr. Elliot Jacobs for you answer and your advice.I think i will choose another doctor for my revision surgery. The problem is that in my country this kind of surgery is not very common. There is no surgeon who claims to be a gynecomastia expert either someone who says anything about revisions...  :(As you said both lipo methods might be used but as far as i know there is a price difference and I don't know why.In this case one of them might be better than another and i don't know which one to choose in order to be satisfied with the results...
