Always get confused. What's the difference between gland and tissue ?
Or is it the same thing ?
I can feel something my breasts. It feels soft and is fairly long from side to side.
I don't think it is fat though. And another reason why my right side is bigger then the left.
But, according to most people gland is fairly hard.

It is generally thought that fatty tissue is soft and that the glandular tissue is more firm.

That may be a reasonable assumption in some cases, but sometimes the fat can be more firm and depending upon the stage of development the glandular tissue could range from hard or firm to soft.

The only way to know for sure is to see what was removed after the surgery is done. Sometimes, it is nearly impossible to tell for for sure until then.
