I went to the surgeon yesterday and he check me out. I have glandular gyne under nips which cause them to be puff, ect. so he checked me out and asked if the surgery is what I wanted. I said yes. He told me where he was gonna cut what scars, if any, i would have and the possibility that i could get fluid that would need to be removed via needle. I still said yes and he said he would submit it to the insurance and sure enough they covered it. The next day they called and told me I go under the knife the 10th.
Few questions.
1) what am i gonna need to do/buy pre-op to help it go smoothly
2) what am i gonna need to do/buy post-op
3) what should i tell my place of work why i need off work and how much should i take off. ( i lift deciently heavy dishes as a dishwasher. i'm 17)
4)how long should I take off school? and that excuses.

Any other comments/advice would be greatly apprecated. thanks in advance -mike

My PS sent me a folder detailing everything I need to do/eat for up to two weeks prior to surgery.  Call his office and ask for something like this.

Congrats on scheduling the surgery.  May 10 is my brother's 22nd birthday.  My surgery is just two weeks after yours :D
