I know all of you have heard of surgeons who don't take ALL the gland out to avoid inverted nipples. This doesn't seem to make sense to me. What would the hole be in? If all the gland was gone, wouldn't that just leave flat muscle? Does the gland make an indent in the muscle? What do you guys think?
Please, Jesus, make my gyne go away!

From what I understand you need to keep some part of the gland intact to maintain the blood supply to the nipple.  If you strip out all the gland then you interrup the blood supply to the nipple and it dies and falls off.  That doesn't sound to cool.

Taking out all the gland doesn't mean your nipple falls off. Levick takes all the gland out, and last time I checked, my nipples are still here.
etc.

My surgeon also removed the whole gland and my results are looking good so far.
