Actually, yes. With mine being on one side only, a shirt doesn’t rest evenly on my chest. The one side supports more of the weight of the material and it makes the bulge more obvious. I normally stick to very thick material and dark colours are also a must. Black, grey and dark blue – that’s my whole wardrobe  :-[

yeah its actually true. Shirts try to fit the contour of your body and sadly the contour is not what we desire. Instead of a flast chest two bumps used to show. Now that I had the surgery. I feel like a million bucks.

Interesting.  I feel mine look worse with my shirt OFF. The top part of my breasts are fairly smooth and the way the t-shirt hangs off could actually be mistaken as a somewhat muscular chest.  With the t-shirt off, the "sag" at the bottom of the breasts is much more noticeable.  Here's a point of vanity for you....I'm a bit worried that after my surgery, a flatter chest will expose more of my belly in a shirt because ther will be no "chest" to have the top of the shirt hang off of, if that makes sense. Small price to pay I'm sure.

im sure there's alot of people who dont see you like that but can see your gyne....having gyne for years, and experimenting with different methods of wearing your clothes to hide them can affect your judgement of what looks best IMO(but maybe your case isn't that serious)... and i would be more worried about the gyne more than your stomach...cause you can always exercise to get rid of that.....unless you've got psuedo-gynecomastia. :)

Looks worse with your shirt on?  Yeah, mine does too.  Still, I wouldn't dream of going outside without a shirt.  Heck, I wouldn't even do it just wearing a T-shirt.

  • going again for surgery sept 25 but happy now
I had the same problem. If I were you go get some body underarmour at Academy Sports. Get the smallest you can fit into. If you wear it under shirts it should help. I am 3weeks post op and waiting for the swelling to subside.

ergoaxis,
I'm with you man. When I am standing up and crosss my arms, I just look like I have a muscular chest. However, when I sit you can see that it's breasts. Without my shirt I look like a hairy girl. ;) Don't quite want that.

  • Wilma, grab the lotion, we're going to the beach!
For me, with just one shirt on it looks way worse, but when I add some type of compression under my shirt it actually looks muscular.

The style and cut of the shirt also has a lot to do with it.

My gyne looks ok with my shirt off as long as I don't move.  When I start to walk, then it bounces all over hell.
