I'm getting surgery tomorrow, is there anything I should know from anyone who's been through it? How long do I have to wear the vest for?

  • Wilma, grab the lotion, we're going to the beach!
Yeah, I have some advice.

DO NOT hold your breath when they put the anesthesia mask on your face.  ;D

Seriously though, you're taking what could potentially be a huge step towards a more happy, confident and productive life.  Good for you. :)

  • Thank you Fielding
The vest should be worn at the very least, 2 weeks.  I think the first week it should be on 24/7 (no showering) and the 2nd week you can take it off to shower.  That's the feedback I get from this site.  My surgery is set for July 13th.

Most of the guys here say it was a piece of cake and you will have no regrets.  Good luck to you.
