Hi

I don't know if this is much help, but When I develped gyne I saw the same endo three times even though he said there was nothing wrong, until I was told I was wasting his and my time.

He is meant to be one of the best in the area I live and specialises in repreoductive issues and was recommended although he is a private endo. I live in essex england so unless you live there that won't be much help to you. If you do live in the UK I can give you his name. Anyway I think the fact you have been re-tested several times means the endos have noticed something . Was that at your request or theirs?

If I were you maybe talk to one of them and explain your concerns I would esp if I had paid all that money for surgery.Did the PS you saw notice an enlargement after the op?. If you are overweight that could slighlty play around with your hormones so maybe look at that. As fat creates an increase in estrogen.Good luck.

If you have the actual numbers, There are people who monitor these pages who may be able to help interpret the results.

Some  standards of Normal will include all men without regard to age.  If you are borderline, and they are using such a standard;  you could be in serious trouble.  A young man in his twenties would have much different results than a man in his eighties.

You want to be sure that the standard is weighted for age and that you fit within the median.

The amount of either Estrogen or Testosterone is sometimes less important than the relationship of the two.  Thus there would be a problem with the ratio if your Estrogen were in the high end of normal and your Testosterone were in the low end of normal.  This is what you seem to indicate.

Nargle your case sounds very similar to mine, although I haven't had a surgery yet.  I am also very thin, do you have a hard time putting on weight/muscle?  I'm wondering if maybe the gyno and inability to gain muscle are related.  I lift weights like a madman and eat protein like its my job with minimal results.
