Hi, I had surgery last year, the surgeon did gland excision + lipo. The gland he removed from each nipple was approximatly 2x3cm. He told me at the time he removed the entire gland, but i have my doubts. Now at 10 months post surgery i have a puffy look to my nipples again. I can feel a hard tissue under and around the nipple area. I can feel little beads of tissue that feel like ducts. It feels like i would be feeling whats in this picture
http://www.breastcancersource.com/gUserFiles/breastDev_fig_3.gif the green bead like things in that picture.

Is it possible this is scar tissue? Can scar tissue be around at 10 months off? would scar tissue be formed in clumps like that? it doesnt hurt when i squeeze it.

If you are worried the best thing you could do is go back to your surgeon and ask him/her.
Not the answer you were looking for im guessing but there it is.

If it's not sentitive, it could very well be scar tissue.
