Thanks for the kind thoughts and words. I hope that it lives up to your expectations. I am certainly looking for feedback to make the next edition even better.

Demystifying Gynecomastia: Men with Breasts
The first book on Gynecomastia

My newest book: Facing the Truth of Your Life is very relevant to members of this forum. It could save you a lot of unnecessary pain and time.

Book books are available on Amazon. FTTOYL is also available through your local bookstore or on Audible or iTunes.

Merle....

I placed an order for a copy of your book yesterday. Is there any chance you could sign it for me?

Thanks!

John.

There will not be an online edition. My original idea had been for an ebook, but I was talked out of it by my friends.

As for being prosurgery, it covers all options that I am aware of including surgery. I am for surgery for those that want it and I talk a lot about it and what it is and what to do around it, but there is a lot of conversation about living with it as well.

Perhaps a chapter list and a excerpt or two would promote the book on the site and give people an idea of whether they would wish to buy it or not.

Just a thought- good luck with it!

The information is more through and acturate than the site itself. There is a lot of opinion here. A lot of uninformed opinion.

The book was reviewed by two plastic surgeons and is the summary of what I know now. There will be a second edition probably by the end of the year. It will have the post surgery survey results and incorporate the best of the suggestions that will come back from readers and doctors over the next several months.

merle, nice to see you.  i haven't seen you post actively, have you lurked from time to time?

you mention a post-surgery survey, but i'm curious, did you also make any use of the users' survey you had here, which as i recall covered the subject generally?  i was pleased to see part three seems to speak to the psychological and social dimensions of the issue.

i assume it ships in a plain brown wrapper with only a return address  :D

* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?

At best, the second edition will be out at the end of the year. It depends on the feedback that I get and how this one sells.

A large part of the book is quotes from the questionnaries. I think they are perhaps the most powerful part, because it is in your words.
