Got an e-mail from the Doc. my Insurance wont cover the procedure, probably due to my cheap ass student health plan. I think I can afford it though.

It is considered cosmetic surgery to most insurance companies. Unless you can prove that the gyne is debilitating or causes some sort of medical hazard then they usually won't cover it. That's just the way the cookie crumbles!

The doc said its considered a medical condition in South Africa, anyway I was prepared to pay for it myself when I went for the consult so its not a big deal.
