Hello everyone,
I just had my gyne surgery yesterday in atlanta. When I went home my compression vest was really tight and pushed the fat up around my armpits and it was uncomfortable.  My doctor recommended wearing a under armour compression t-shirt underneath. It makes a noticeable difference and is worth the $25. Much more comfortable! Hope this helps.

I was thinking of getting an under armour vest as well - but I kind of thought these would have less compression than the surgical vest. How did it work out for you?

Hi Rasputin, If its of any help to you then I wouldnt recommend the under armour as a substitute for the compression vest. When I put the UA compression vest on in place of my compression vest it felt inadequate. The macom vest you get from Karidis is medical grade i.e its pretty damn snug! My chest felt a bit weird and unsupported in the UA vest as its not as tight.
