Just as the question says. I wonder if post surgery a surgeon can tell by feel if the gland has returned a bit, or its just scar tissue. Is there a different feel? Thank you!!

In most cases, it is difficult, by feel alone, to tell the difference between breast tissue and scar tissue.

Usually surgeons are very carefully and know exactly how much they've left behind, and any new formations are assumed to be scar tissue. In my case I developed quite a bit of internal scar tissue, and it was kinda scary even though my surgeon kept reassuring me that it was just scar tissue. You just have to have faith. I'm now 5 months out, and I STILL have some scar tissue that gets smaller and smaller every week.
