got out of surgery last evening and was quite dizzy for a while. lots of fluid lasst night and my doc called and said 5300 cc/liters was sucked out... but to me for now, the shape looks quite the same with few bruises. i'll wait for the swelling to go down a bit ....my groin area is swollen! looks bug, so im wearing a jockstrap to help wiht that..

when can i start driving, any ideas?

It is quite typical for there to be lots of swelling after surgery -- it usually peaks about 48 - 60 hrs after surgery and then declines.

Significant swelling and/or bruising of the genitalia can occur with lipo of the abdomen (the swelling goes down by gravity to the lowest area) but it is temporary and harmless -- don't worry.  Some of my patients have asked if I could make the enlargement permanent -- sorry, no, it is temporary.

Would strongly recommend rest, lots of fluids and adequate time until you begin to drive or do anything else.  This is a significant operation and you need time to recover properly.
